I have noticed that almost all of the public speakers that I know use tablet PCs during their presentations. Many of the teachers I work with, and I, have them as well. This is not without good reason, because we have discovered that it is a great advantage to have this information power in the palms of our hands, when we are speaking in front of an audience.
We can also use them as multimedia tools in our presentations. I have used mine to play music during song class, and also have my reference books ( like my dictionary ) and other tools on it.
During my preaching at a recent church service, I used my tablet to control my presentation software on my notebook computer via a blue tooth connection using the application BT Remote PC . https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.rozkovec.android

I had not thought about the possibility of remote accessing for presentations before (silly me), and I really liked the idea when you told me at school.
ReplyDeleteI think it'd be even more useful to me when controlling my media center than at presentations (I don't do them that often anyways). The thought of not needing a 5-meter-long HDMI cable to operate my laptop from my my lap or not using a wireless mouse on top of my bed is very appealing!
